Troubling Doctrines Part 1: Underpants and Polygamy

Utahns are a simple and superstitious people. Unfortunately Mormonism developed in Utah and in its history Utah Mormons have embellished the “protective” properties of the “garment” into actual physical protection from bullets, bombs, fire and sword. In actual fact, the “garment” is only officially billed as a spiritual protector inasmuch as it is a constant reminder that it is God who clothed and protected us from our own ignorance and nakedness after we fell.
